well, it looks like your memory stack might be too low for the firmware --
this is typical of linux kernels.  If you want to get up and running right
away, I sugges http://www.linuxant.com <http://www.linuxant.com> .  This is
a great site where you can download kernels with increased memory stacks
based on kernel version as well as their driverloader program which
interfaces with your pc and/or nic card and the associated windows driver.
 
I got my 2wire pc card working right away in my fedora core 3::2.6.10

I am having the same problem whenever I enable either wds or hostapd
support. I am using kernel 2.4.26 and the latest prism54 cvs. Can someone
help?

Hi All, 

 

  i am herewith sending the details of the results that i get when i give
insmod "prism54.o" , "ifconfig eth0"  and  "ifconfig eth0 up".....insmod
works properly and i have also checked using lsmod to verify if the module
has been  inserted prorperly but the problem occurs when i give ifconfig
eth0 up...the kernel version used is 2.4.24....Any help is appreciated....
