[Prism54-users] ifconfig issue

I think the problem is described here:

The basic is that:

register_netdevice() is called under rtnl_lock.  It calls
net_run_sbin_hotplug() which ends up waiting on ifconfig.  But
ifconfig needs rtnl_lock.

I wonder how anyone get hostapd runnig with prism54. I tried with kernel 
2.4.27 and will try kernel 2.4.29 in a few days.
