Hi folks,
I've got one of the Prism/Intersil 802.11g cards. Not exactly sure
which one. But in any case, I'm having some trouble. Here's what I've
done:
- compiled and installed kernel 2.6-test9
- dl'd the prism54 drivers (last friday)
- applied the patches
- compiled the driver
... and basically have done everything else in the README
but when I went to compile my kernel, I got the following message:
make[4]: *** No rule to make target drivers/net/wireless/prism54/Makefile'.
Stop.
make[3]: *** [drivers/net/wireless/prism54] Error 2
make[2]: *** [drivers/net/wireless] Error 2
make[1]: *** [drivers/net] Error 2
make: *** [drivers] Error 2
so I coped the ksrc dir from the prism54 driver into that directory.
Now I get the following error:
drivers/net/wireless/Makefile:22: /usr/src/linux-2.6.0-test9/Makefile.k26:
No such file or directory
make[3]: *** No rule to make target
/usr/src/linux-2.6.0-test9/Makefile.k26'. Stop.
make[2]: *** [drivers/net/wireless] Error 2
make[1]: *** [drivers/net] Error 2
make: *** [_clean_drivers] Error 2
and at this point I'm not sure how to get things going.
Thanks,
DT
