Look at bug reports 56 and 59. I've reported bug #59 and also note that
sometimes a hard reset is not enough to get the card working again. Only a power
off/on cycle will work in these cases. I'm also using SMC2802w cards on both
sides. I'm running the card in a Gigabyte 6BXE which is a PCI 2.2 board.
