[Prism54-users] Prism54 USB (e.g. SMC Smc2862W-G?) support?

Dear All,

Does the latest Prism54 driver support USB2 Wifi 802.11g sticks?

I heard that SMC Smc2862W-G  is such a Prism54 USB stick.

I intend to use it on my new PowerBook 12" 1.33GHz, whose
AirportEtreme Broadcom based Wifi is sadly not supported bu Linux - I
am running Debian/Sid with the latest 2.6.7-rc1 kernel.

What is missing in Prism54 drivers for USB support?

What other Wifi 802.11g USB2 sticks are running under Linux. I need a
source driver, since I am running on a PowerPC machine.
