Hi.
=20
I just tryied the latest CVS version from today and I can't make my =
SMC2802W PCI work in my linux box.
=20
I'm using kernel 2.4.24 with the CVS patch from today. I didn't forget =
to have modules for prism and hot plug firmware. I also installed the =
hotplug firmware agent. Firmware is the latest available on prism54.org =
(1.0.4.3).
After doing a modprobe prism54 I get this dmesg:
=20
  Loaded prism54 driver, version 1.0.2.2
  divert: allocating divert_blk for eth3
  eth3: islpci_open()
  eth3: resetting device...
  eth3: uploading firmware...
  remove_proc_entry: 00:09.0/loading busy, count=3D1
  remove_proc_entry: firmware/00:09.0 busy, count=3D1
eth3: firmware uploaded done, now triggering reset...
  de_put: deferred delete of loading
  de_put: deferred delete of 00:09.0
eth3: device soft reset timed out

Check iwconfig output:
=20
  eth3 NOT READY! ESSID:""
            Mode:Managed Channel:6 Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00
            Tx-Power=3D0 dBm Sensitivity=3D0/200
            Retry min limit:0 RTS thr=3D0 B Fragment thr=3D0 B
            Encryption key:off
            Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
            Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

Trying another reset with iwpriv also doesn't work. Using all the =
available firmwares didn't help either.
The card refuses to colaborate. Output of /proc/interrupts after several =
tests. IRQ number doesn't change:

    1: 2 XT-PIC keyboard
    2: 0 XT-PIC cascade

  NMI: 0
  ERR: 0

Maybe the problem is my hardware setup? Firmware doesn't load properlly =
for some reason?
=20
Thanks in advance.
