I've spamassassin running locally with a trained Bayes filter and
receive just about zero SPAM. on false positive I can not comment right
now. So whatever filter is used on the mailinglist a switch to some
filter with analysis rules in connection with bayes filtering seems to
be pretty effective. spamassassin offers a spamd which speeds up
processing of larger numbers of mails, its quite useable with procmail
scripts. The actual discarding is done by procmail according to
spamassassins results. So this should integrate well in mailinglist
processing.
