[Prism54-users] firmware is not uploaded

Hi. I have a problem with the prism54 driver. I am running Debian,
kernel 2.6.5, hotplug snapshot 20040329 (the latest one, I think). The
driver I use is the one given by the kernel tree.

When I insert the my 3COM 3CRWE154G7, I got the following in the log file:

Then, when I execute "ifconfig eth1 up" the response is "SIOCSIFFLAGS:
No such file or directory". In the log there are the following lines:

and nothing more. I do have a firmware in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware,
and it is named isl3890.arm.

iwconfig returns:
