Success with lanready CWPG2000 PCI card, using 1.1 drivers on kernel 2.4.25 as an AP:

Bandwidth on 802.11b is good between PCI card as AP and IBM atheros-based mini-pci 802.11a/b card. I will be installing atheros-based 802.11a/b/g mini-pci to test bandwidth soon. The client is about four feet away from AP:
elliotf@frog /pt/hm/lltf $ sudo netperf -H 172.22.0.1
TCP STREAM TEST to 172.22.0.1

dmesg:
eth2: prism54 driver detected card model: XG-900/GW-DS54G

eth2: firmware uploaded done, now triggering reset...

If you all would like any more information, let me know. I would not recommend buying it from pcbay (http://www.pcbay.net) as they did not ship when they said they would, they did not ship it via the shipper they said they would, and did not call me when they said they would.
