Just a note that I now have a 3CRWE154G72 PC-card up and running
on a Fedora Core 1 based system (former RedHat Linux)

It is running with an unmodified RedHat/Fedora kernel, 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl,
and with the wireless part setup by using the network configuration tool.

I did the following to get it going:
- Installed the kernel-pcmcia-cs package (as I removed this when I used the
old Isl-driver.)
- Made the directory /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware
- Placed the latest firmware code there with the command "wget
http://prism54.org/firmware/isl3890"
- Placed the firmware-agent for hotplug in the directory /etc/hotplug "wget
http://prism54.org/~hvr/firmware.agent", made it executable.
- Unpacked prism54-cvs20031115.tar.bz2
- ran "make KVER=2.4.22-1.2115.nptl
KDIR=/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/build/ modules"
and
"make KVER=2.4.22-1.2115.nptl KDIR=/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/build/
install"
- Changed the contents of /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia to
PCMCIA=yes
PCIC=i82365
PCIC_OPTS=
CORE_OPTS=
CARDMGR_OPTS=
- used ntsysv to start pcmcia on startup of the computer
- ran redhat-config-network to setup the system. Note that the redhat
script only can handle one key, that has to be key number one. It took a
while for me to understand this (used key number 3)

I think I got all steps here, I am writing this after a day of struggle :-)
It works very good, the Gnome Wireless Link Monitor monitors the status,
and all seem well.

A big thanks to the developers!

Regards,
Lars
