Hi all,

I just got a SMC2802W-CA card and trying to load islpci.o but getting a
unable to find device error.

Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: Loaded islpci, version 1.0.1.0
Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: netlink_kernel_create failed
Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 00:09.0
Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: PCI: Unable to reserve mem region #1:2000@e6400000 for device 00:09.0
Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: PCI: Unable to reserve mem region #1:2000@e6400000 for device 00:09.0
Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: pci_request_regions failure, rvalue -16
Nov 1 19:04:43 gate kernel: islpci: No devices found, driver not installed.

I'm using the old driver for now, as I'm still running RH9 w/ 2.4.20....
but will try the new driver later.

I'm wondering what is detected on the /proc/pci. In /proc/pci, this looks like the card was detected:

  Bus 0, device 9, function 0:
Network controller: PCI device 1260:3890 (Harris Semiconductor) (rev 1).
      IRQ 10.
      Master Capable. Latency=64. Min Gnt=10.Max Lat=28.
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xe6400000 [0xe6401fff].

Not Intersil??

Rgds,
Edmond
