Yes i did, I downloaded that one: http://prism54.org/firmware/isl3890 and
copied it
to /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware !
What else could cause the error???
Is it enough to patch the Kernelsource only with this patch:
http://prism54.org/pub/linux/snapshot/kernel/v2.4/2003-12/patch-2.4.23-prism
???

Or do I need some other patches?
Is the rest what I have OK???
