Hi,
I have problems getting my Netgear WG511 to work under 2.4.23,
2.6.0-test9 or 2.6.0-test11. For now I used the kernel patch from
20031204 for all three. The firmware get's uploaded I think, at least
both LED's are blinking and I can do a ifconfig eth1 up. But the
iw* commands all return a Connection timed out error.
lspci -vvv -n gives:
03:00.0 Class 0280: 1260:3890 (rev 01)
Subsystem: 1385:4800
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B-
Status: Cap+ 66Mhz- UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR-
Latency: 80 (2500ns min, 7000ns max)
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 5
Region 0: Memory at 20800000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K]
Capabilities: <available only to root>
I checked all Kernel options, but nothings wrong there.
So is it just a case of having to use another version of the prism54
driver? If so, which version will work with the WG511?
Andreas
