Summary: Prism54 in Master (AP) mode CRASH when a client try ad-
                    hoc mode
           Product: prim54
           Version: 1.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P1
         Component: Device Driver
        AssignedTo: prism54-devel at prism54.org
        ReportedBy: max at uggeri.com

As described above, on a Slackware 10.0 box, with Kernel 2.4.27, PCI Adapter and
a Senao PCMCIA 802.11 b/g card.

Sometimes WinXP-SP2 clients comes with pre-configured AD-HOC mode, expecially
when using a USB adapters, and when the client tries to connect with the Linux
Box, the Prism54 driver crash (the light on the Linux Box switch from blinking
to fixed). The interface show an "up and running" status, but is crashed.
Sometimes also "iwconfig" says "no wiress extensions".

The only solutions is to put down and up the interface, but there's no symptoms
(e.g. ping to it'self still respond..) and there's non "workaround" like up-down
scripts daemons to solve, so this problem is *really* blocking.

Any suggestions?
