I closed the bug, as it was me who opened it in the first place, and according 
to Margit (see the forum thread i posted) it is a problem with my setup or 
something, and not with the prism54 driver and therefore invalid. 
Whether this is true or not, and i closed the bug too early, i don't know. I 
have trouble arguing with someone about if it is a problem with my setup or 
not as this is the only card i have and i can't test if other cards work 
better. 
Maybe you should write to the forum instead and ask them to reopen the bug as 
it seems there is more activity going on there than in the bugzilla (which, 
to me, doesn't seem to be used at all)

Also, try cvs-snapshot 20041104. That's the one i use (with the lines 
mentioned earlier removed).
