------- Additional Comments From vda@port.imtp.ilyichevsk.odessa.ua 2004-03-08 22:32 -------
I have a way to reliably reproduce this.
I have one box acting as AP and other as STA.
First, I have to saturate link (it doesn't matter
in which direction, or in both directions at once).

For example using netcat, on AP:
nc -nu -l -p 19 </dev/zero >/dev/null
on STA:
nc -nu ap_ip_addr 19 </dev/zero >/dev/null
and watch tcpdump or what else do you have.
~1.5 Mb/s each way.

It can go on indefinitely on idle STA, also works
if I do heavy reading (dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/null).
Heavy write load (dd if=/dev/zero of=file) kills STA instantly
with symptoms described above.

Tested with Linux 2.6.4-rc2-bk3 + prism54 cvs20040307.
Will retest with older kernel tomorrow.

My last hope is maybe it's mainboard related (bug in mobo
chipset etc?) Any suggestions?
