With the latest cvs version, iwconfig eth0 takes a few seconds before
completion, (no related kernel msg nor iwevent msg)

With 'cvs update -D 2004-01-28' (and before) there was no problem.
With 'cvs update -D 2004-01-29' the problem appears.

So I think it's this patch that is causing the problem:
