[Prism54-devel] PrismGT Cardbus card

I have a PrismGT mini-PCI card, but I failed to install the driver. Here are
the steps I did:
1) download the 2.4.23 kernel and compiled with the specified configurations
with regard to CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL, CONFIG_FW_LOADER, CONFIG_PCMCIA &&
CONFIG_CARDBUS
2) installed firmware to /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/isl3890
4) installed the firmware.agent to /etc/hotplug
5) installed the wireless extension tools v 2.6
6) maked sure that /sbin/hotplug exists
7) compiled the prism54 driver snapshot 20040104, and installed it with KDIR
and KVER set to the 2.4.23 source tree

When I boots up the 2.4.23 kernel and then modprobe prism54, I got the
following errors:

/lib/modules/2.4.23/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/prism54/prism54.o: insmod
prism54 failed

Any suggestions on how I resolve this issue?

All Prism GT chipset based cards use the same firmware, regardless if
they are PCI, miniPCI or Cardbus. There is also no special treatment for
Cardbus/PCI/miniPCI.

With cardbus you can at least use cardmgr stuff such as cardctl. That's
about it.
