Jens,

unfortunately we do not have a good solid developer contact. I'm pretty
sure some Intersil/Globespanvirata/Conexant and others who have been
dealing with the source with official specs are subscribed to the list
though. If you have a question regarding the origianl source, chances are
you can just ask on the list and *someone* might magically reply.

Intersil GPL'd the source, but the support for the source has pretty much
faded and we're now the ones who do most of its support despite our
developer team not even having clearance to obtain the chipset specs.

So FWIW, just shoot and keep asking on this list and see if you get your
answers.
