mhh. I don't have any ne2k Devices:

This is the card:

lspci -nvvv | grep -A 9 "1260:3890"

But I could try temporary removing the 3Com and e100 Card (or driver).

But could this be the problem? What is done, when uploading the firm?
Could it write in stuctures of other devices?

thanks

Tim

When your Server gets faster, better, / V \.
it's surely Linux serves your matter! V`___V

There are only 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand binary, and those who don't!

Contrary to popular belief, Unix is user friendly. It just happens to be
very selective about who it decides to make friends with.
