[Prism54-users] cannot switch to monitor or managed mode

hi there,

for 6-8 weeks or so i have the same problems with kernel 2.6.7 when running 
kismet (which also switches the card to monitor mode). i have been using the 
kernel version for quite some time. i also have been using the firmware for 
more than a year and never changed the version i orginally started with. 

to my opinion (but i am not sure) i first encountered the problem when the 
recent wireless extension entered debian sarge. both occurences (wireless 
upgrade and card failure) share the same synchronicity...
