I've found getting this card to work is a remarkably convoluted process.
The documentation (if you'll call it that) is a collection of posts that at
my last reading was poorly organized and poorly written. The people working
on the code at prism.org are good engineers and have good intentions, but
there appears to be a significant need for organized documentation that
relates directly to the releases available. Others have asked my opinion on
this card and these drivers at my local university, my usual response is
"life's too short". Engineers with time on their hands can get it to
work... people in other fields are better off using cards that are directly
supported by the kernel that they are currently using.
Just one opinion.

Subject: [Prism54-users] Netgear WG511
Hi,
I would just like to confirm something:
I already have a D-Link DI-624+ router.
I am thinking of purchasing a Netgear WG511 wireless PCI adaptor.
I use Debian (sarge, kernel 2.4.18). So all I need to do is upgrade my
kernel to 2.6.5 and it all should work fine.
Is this correct?
Thanks
