[Prism54-users] Another reset timeout problem

I have just installed a SMC2802W card in my router (an old Via chipset
socket7 board, which previously had a Prism2.5 card that worked fine
with hostap).

When I try to "ifconfig eth2 up" I get this:

eth2: islpci_open()
eth2: resetting device...
eth2: uploading firmware...
eth2: firmware uploaded done, now triggering reset...
eth2: device soft reset timed out

I saw that someone else had the same problem, and I tried the patch
posted with no luck. I'm wondering if anyone has any other ideas.
