[Prism54-users] Netgear WG511, Kernel 2.4.23 TRAP

Hi Rene van Bevern,

I have a Netgear WG511 PC-Card and a Netgear WGR614 Wireless Router they
both work fine with and without WEP.
At the time I first configured my WG511 in Nov. 2003 I have noticed that
some iwconfig commands reset the values of other commands to their
default values. For example iwconfig eth0 channel 11 would reset
whatever has been set with iwconfig eth0 essid "vb-network"

Therfore I suggest that you issue one command after the other (instead
all at once) and check the sucess with iwconfig eth0. But maybe this
behaviour has changed in the last cvs shnapshots. I have not checked this=
=2E

I am not sure wether I could help to solve your problems.
