Correct.  An entry for the chipset has been submitted to
pciids.sourceforge.net, but it is not yet approved.

Intersil, the chip manufacturer, used to be a part of
Harris Semiconductor, so that's where the vendor name
comes from.  (The WLAN business of Intersil has changed
owners yet again...)

What kind of "bing" program are you using?
There appears to be one that floods the link and another one
that measures the speed using latency considerations.
The latter should be taken with a grain of doubt.

If you want to test the throughput, attach a PC with
wired 100 Mbps Ethernet to your access point and use ttcp
from wireless to wired.
(This also tests your access point and the wired Ethernet,
not just the wireless card.)
This measures TCP-based throughput.  The numbers would be
interesting.
