[Prism54-users] Success with SMC-2835W / Kernel 2.6.0-test9-mm1

Hi,

I just got my SMC-2835W 802.11g Cardbus-Adapter working.

I'm using gentoo with kernel 2.6.0-test9-mm1 and prism54-cvs-20031104.

Troughput is steady and ping times are consistent.

Works like a charm, but the problem is that for connecting to my uni's Wlan
I need the Cisco VPN-Client and according to Cisco's documentation the
client currently only works with kernel 2.4.x. Has anyone an idea on what to
use instead ?
