Hi all
First of all I would like to thank the prism54 developers.
I can compile my kernel ok, found no problems there.
The steps that I took:
mkdir -p /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware
cd /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware
wget http://prism54.org/firmware/isl3890
downloaded and unpacked the 2.4.22 kernel
cd /usr/src/linux-2.4.22
bzip2 -cd ../prism54/patch-2.4.23-pre9.bz2 |patch -p1
bzip2 -cd ../prism54/patch-2.4.23-pre9-prism54-CVS-2003-11-04.bz2 |patch =
-p1
make menuconfig
<checked the prism54 card as module>
<checked the firmware load>
make dep
make bzImage
make modules
make modules_install
[Chanced grub]
***rebooted the computer***
Know I noticed that after the reboot only 1 network card worked, out of =
3.
eth0 =3D 3com [worked after reboot]
eth1 =3D prism54 [insmod error, details below] (SMC2802 PCI)
eth2 =3D realtek8139 [did not worked after the reboot]
When I try to insmod the module by hand I get the following error:

/sbin/hotplug
Usage: /sbin/hotplug AgentName [AgentArguments]
AgentName values on this system: ieee1394 net pci usb
Most agents also require particular environment parameters.
I hope that someone could help me to solve the problem.
