[Prism54-users] WG511 and newest prism54

Hi to all here,

my card WG511 never worked with the ISL3890 driver in my Amila A, so now
I managed to build a kernel (2.4.23-pre9) with the prism54-2003-11-01.

When I plug the card in the green LED glows -> good sign.
But when I do a ifconfig there is no hardwareaddress (00:00:00:00:...).

So I read the README to see, if I forgot something and installed the
wireless-tools.

iwlist gives only an error, because /proc/net/wireless is empty.

And iwconfig gives: SET failed on device eth1 ; Connection timed out!
whatever I want to configure.


Is this a common WG511 problem? (It works with a reinstalled XP on this
Laptop!)
