[Prism54-users] What are the suggested configs for PCMCIA for the prism54 driver?

I'm using a Netgear WG511 with different levels of success:
I succeeded with a fresh kernel 2.4.23 on Knoppix 3.3 a that I have installed  
on my harddisk. But using a Gnoppix0.6.0 installation (on a different 
partition) with the same kernel fails to initialize the card. To be more 
precise: Both installations freeze after inserting the Netgear card after a 
rebbot. (But they reawake after releasing the card.) When I first do a 
'modprobe firmware_class', both installations do not freeze, and the card is 
recognized on Knoppix after a 'ifconfig ethX up' and the green light goes on. 
But I get a timeout on the gnoppix installation (which as a base installation 
I prefer). This must be related to some configuration things, because it is 
the same hardware and the same kernel. I guess it is the pcmcia stuff, but 
how can I configure pcmcia to work with prism54?

Any suggestions?
