[Prism54-users] WLAN protocol problems

Hi,

I have a NETGEAR-Accesspoint WG602 and a NETGEAR-PC-Card WG511 for my laptop.

Everything works fine if the laptop is running windows.

Thanks to a hint from Margit I have been able to compile the prism54-driver 
for my SuSE 9.0-kernel, so that the hardware is available and is responding 
to iw*-commands.

But when trying to use the eth1-interface I do not get a connection. When I 
try to ping my "server" I can see the incoming arp-packets and the correct 
ARP-replies on the "server".

On the laptop I can see the same outgoing ARP-packets, but the result is just 
a reply with protocol "LLC" (this is what ethereal prints)


As I write this message, I remember that I am using the most current 
prism54-driver (prism54-cvs20031203) but a kernel 2.4.21-99-default, as it is 
delivered with SuSE 9.0.


I would be happy, if someone could supply me with a solution to my problem.
