Hello,

I'm starting to get some success associating with an access point with a PCI
device running in softmac mode. All of this is very preliminary, many crashers
need to be ironed out, and protocol is still not fully understood. Also, the
driver has not been tested on PPC, but should work.

For those willing and able to carry out tests / do some protocol
reverse-engeneering / do some driver fixing, the code is at :

You need to download the proper firmware, then build & insert the wlan, islsm
and islsm_pci modules (all of this taken care of by the build-devo.sh script);
then upping the interface will lead to channel scanning.

I'd very much like logs / reports from early testers, as the range of devices
that i can work on is rather limited (one SMC v1 card).
