You were so right Feyd ! Active testing indeed rules.
And ethereal in monitor mode too !

Sebastien, if you want to put your card in real monitor mode, set the
[0x2a, 0x2b] field in http://jbnote.free.fr/prism54usb/FilterPacket.html
to zero : you'll even receive the 802.11 ACKs.

Set them to ff ff, you'll receive nothing. Finer-grained determination
of the meaning is obviously needed, i'll try and test this week. Yeepee!

Given this breakthrough, i think the next thing i'll implement in the
driver is monitor mode.

I'm still at a loss as to how to send data, however :(
