[Prism54-devel] hostapd and prism54

What about hostapd used without any encryption? Whenever I start hostapd,
the card automatically reports through the ssid beacon to my laptop that it
only supports encrypted connections. Even though the hostapd.conf has
auth_algs=1 ...

Also, it does not seem like hostapd can set the ssid ... it has to be set
bye the iwconfig command first. Is this normal?

Whenever hostapd is compiled into the driver, the setPolicy 1 option does
not work. If you set it, no station can connect.

Thanks,

Sergio

WPA STA support is not complete. There's just a few things left I cannot
figure out. At this time too I've given my working cards to friends and
ordered new ones but unfortunatley got the SoftMAC cards which I
dislike and will not work on. So right now my hands are tied.
