next attempt with following software environment : kernel 2.6.9-rc1, ACPI patch
20040816, Prism54-CVS-latest

results : 
- card suspends properly (as it did before)
- on resume, it works again for about 20 seconds, then it looses wireless link.
Keyboard and mouse intermittently lock up again. Also noted that the USB drivers
are not loaded by hotplug as long as the SMC card is in trouble, they are loaded
when I reset the SMC manually.
This time however, there are some other messages in dmesg :

Finally, I have to issue a "cardctl eject/cardctl insert" to reset the card.
Then, it works again as if nothing happened.
