The last version that worked with both my SMC2802 and SMC2835 I have
access to is the one in kernel 2.6.7.

The current cvs snapshot causes the described symptoms with both cards.
With a quick diff it looks like card initialization changes.
Unfortunately, the viewcvs.cgi only gives a nice Berkeley DB error.

BTW, when subversion is working fine, is there a chance to open anymous
access for it again?
