Hmm, I downloaded the XP Drivers about two months ago and use the ndiswrapper 
debian package from sarge.

I remember that after unpacking the XP Drivers I had to copy a few files 
manualy to the ndiswrapper directory.

Then everything worked fine right from the first try.

Unfortunaltey I don't have my notebook with me right at the moment so I can't 
tell you which files and which version I exactly use.
