Some more info. This is my dmesg after inserting the card a couple of times:

and at the same time as the kernel bug i get a:

and ifconfig (if not iw) also hangs with no output.

oh, and also the weird behaviour with firefox crashing when i use a search; that
also happens when i try to push commit in this form...
