Then at least in case of Z-Com XG-701A based dongle with firmware 2.4
new firmware architecture seems to be very close to old architecture?

I'm glad to do some research and even give some input/ideas how it
could be done (see other post) but I am not in the position to
actually lead development. I'm not familiar with driver hacking, let
alone WLAN...
