Sorry I can't run your test. The card is in a system with only flash ide drive.
But I can reproduze the problem anytime if I transfer large files accros the
wlan link. It only takes 1-5 minutes and the cards stop working.

I noticed this behaviour before. A Gigabyte BX2000 board with the same chipset
isn't able to power on with the SMC card plugged in.
http://www.gigabyte.de/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-6BXE.htm says that the
6BXE is PCI 2.2 complaint. And more strange the site
http://www.gigabyte.de/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-BX2000.htm says this for
the BX2000 mainboard too. What mainboard do you use?
