Sorry fot the aditional delay. I'm compiling the driver now, tomorrow I'll have
more data. One thing I found already was that the driver doesn't hang if I have
my network cable connected at boot to the laptop. My chipset is a sis730, the
network adapter is a sis900. I'll try to do some more checks tomorrow with the
verbose version of the driver.
