ok, using the make clean modules on the prism54-1.1.tar.bz2 stable release I got
severaislpci_mgt.c:25:32: linux/moduleparam.h: No such file or directory
islpci_mgt.c:42: syntax error before "int"
islpci_mgt.c:42: warning: type defaults to `int' in declaration of `module_param'
islpci_mgt.c:42: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype

the islpci_mgt.c use the kernel linux/moduleparam.h introduced in kernel 2.5.52.
I'm running kernel 2.4.22!!! Do I need another tar ball?
