[Prism54-devel] [Bug 87] prism54 lost link with high traffic

I've had similar problems using 1.0.4.3 transferring large files via NFS. Both my laptop and my homebrew access point are using the prism54 snapshot from 6/28. Both radios are Xterasys XG-600 mini-pci. I am using 128-bit WEP.
The symptoms I see are:
1. After transferring approximately 60 megabytes of data with an average throughput of 1 MB/sec my laptop loses it's association with the AP.
2. The laptop starts scanning and does not re-associate unless I do an ifdown/ifup on the AP interface (an ifdown/up on the laptop does nothing)
3. There are no error messages regarding the affected interfaces in log/messages or log/syslog on either the AP or client laptop.
I downgraded firmware to 1.0.3.0 this morning and the problem has gone away. I just transferred 629 MB (average file size is 8 MB) from my mp3 server to my laptop with no hiccups... AND... the average throughput has gone up to 1.5 MB/sec.
More information below....
Cheers,
Ed
