You may have noticed that a "lspci" reports info on the Prism
as some "D-Links" stuff.
The whole pci id business revolves around a file called "pci.ids" which is
maintained by a sourceforge project.
The kernel uses this as do the pci utilities.
Fortunately, "lspci" loads this info at run time.
Here is a link to the current pci.ids :
http://prism54.org/pub/linux/testing/pci.ids

(This is based on latest snapshot from sourceforge plus
my additions based on known Prism54 id's)

Download and copy to the relevant directory for your distro.
(This is normally /usr/share)

You should then see something like this :
06:00.0 Network controller: Intersil Corporation Intersil ISL3890 [Prism
GT/Prism Duette] (rev 01)

(Also posted in News Forum)
