I did exactly this steps:

iwconfig eth0 mode managed
iwconfig eth0 channel 1 (not 11!)
iwconfig eth0 mode monitor

(except eth eth1, not eth0) with a SMC2835, snapshot from the 27 of January and
kismet-cvs, and it worked fine.
