I specifically bought a SMC 2802W because it looked to be well supported. I only
found out about it being V2 when I experienced this bug. Vendor omitted the
version, and even on the manual it is not mentioned. I'm wondering if a warning
at the right place in the supported cards list might spare people after me the
trouble.
