Certainly seems to be related to spikes in CPU usage. Trouble is I can't tell if
the spike is caused by prism54 breaking, or causes prism54 to break.
I've had it die twice just now while getting Thunderbird to do some client side
sorting of mail accessed via IMAP. Is there any debugging info I can get that
might help with diagnosis?
I notice at the end of drivers/net/wireless/prism54/islpci_mgt.c the source reads:
}
printk(KERN_WARNING "%s: timeout waiting for mgmt response\n",
ndev->name);
/* TODO: we should reset the device here */
Is that like a "complete" reset, just to get the interface back up and working
again, or is this some kind of soft reset that needs to implemented to fix this
mgmt queue lock problem?
