           Summary: disconnect on 802.1x authentication
           Product: prim54
           Version: 1.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Device Driver
        AssignedTo: prism54-devel at prism54.org
        ReportedBy: atlaste at yahoo.com

While I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to drop this bug, I think this
is something the prism54 driver handles.

I'm using the ``xsupplicant'' package from open1x.org in combination with a
common TTLS/PAP radius server for authenticating on 802.1x via wireless. For
that I'm using an 3com officeconnect 802.11g network card.

However, after authentication succeeds, the link with the access point is
disconnected, and a new access point search occurs. Since it takes time to find
the access point again, and authenticate again after that, I need "luck" in
order to establish a valid network connection.

So, is there any way I can force the driver *not* to disconnect from the AP and
keep the connection alive?
