One of the things that bugs me is this insane
.h, .c dependency.
I have in the pipeline incremental patches to do:
merge 38xx.h > dev.h
merge 38xx.c >dev.c (5 from 7 routines used exclusively)
merge eth.h > dev .h
merge eth.c > dev.c
Then
merge *mg* > somewhere

This is not GUPD,  but this leads to a better maintainability.
And is long overdue.
