Iv'e just tried the latest snapshot (20041904), and there does not seem to be a
difference for me.

I do need to correct my last comment. The errors was not caused by using 'any'
as essid. i just need to stop and start the card a couple of times before it
works and it also works with 'any'. Was just a fluke that it came up when i
changed the essid.
