         Yep, this is good news. I really needed this working with a Suse 
kernel.
         The Suse kern has the firmware loader.
         Only thing I needed to do was a quick patch in islpci_dev.c & 
islpci_hotplug.c
         for "free_netdev" (which equates to a "kfree") and 
"pci_name(param)" ( which
         equates to "param->slot_name").
         Put things in the right places and everything happens automatically !
         Super.
         (Suse 9.0 has the latest and greatest wireless tools and also 
everything necessary
          to compile/run 2.6)
         (And yes, I do need the Suse kern, has things like Sensors, XFS, 
Cpufreq, SWsuspend,
           ALSA, dynamic HZ - just to mention a few)
